Well, e-Design is an online service offered by interior designers that allows you to receive expert guidance without the need for in-person consultations. Unlike traditional interior design, where a designer visits your home to take measurements and help select furnishings, e-Design operates entirely online. This means you can work with a professional designer from the comfort of your own home, making it a convenient option for busy lifestyles.

One of the main advantages of e-Design is its cost-effectiveness. Since designers don't need to spend time traveling between appointments or visiting stores, they can offer their services at a lower price point. This makes professional design assistance accessible to a wider audience.

At Dark&Olive, we proudly offer e-Design services for a flat fee of $295 per room. Our approach caters to both low and medium budgets, ensuring that you can achieve your dream space without breaking the bank.

It’s important to be cautious when exploring e-Design options. While some designers may offer their services at an incredibly low cost, remember that in most cases, you get what you pay for. HOW DOES
IT WORK?
Interior design is a team effort, and e-Design is no exception. Effective communication between the designer and client is crucial for a successful project. Before you hire my services, I want to walk you through the entire process so you know what to expect.

1. First Steps
​
You're ready to get started! We'll send you our Welcome Guide and an Interior Design questionnaire to learn more about you and your project goals. We also encourage you to share some inspiration images to help us understand what makes you fall in love with a room.

2. Initial Consultation
​
This step is optional. We offer a call to discuss your design goals, budget, and what’s possible for your space. This conversation can also be done via email or Whatsapp chat.

3. Follow-Up Email/Communication
​
After we’ve discussed your vision, I’ll send a follow-up email summarizing our conversation and a link to a Google Drive folder where you can upload the necessary information, including:

Room measurements: Length and width of each wall, including measurements of windows and doors.

Photos of the room: Capture images from different corners.

Pictures of existing furniture, art, or accessories: Let me know what you want to keep.
You can communicate via email or Whatsapp, whichever you prefer.

4. Initial Vision Board/Design Concept
​
Once you’ve provided all the information, my team and I will start working on your project. You can expect your Initial Vision Board in just a few days. I will present you with three design options based on your inspirations, adding our unique design touches. You’ll receive this via email and it will also be uploaded to your Google Drive folder, complete with detailed explanations of each design choice. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
After you select your favorite design, we’ll move forward. You’ll have two free revisions to refine the initial vision board based on your feedback.

5. Shopping List/Floor Plan Phase
​
Once you approve the revisions, I’ll begin finalizing the design proposal. You can expect a completed floor plan that shows where the new furniture will be placed, along with a shopping list complete with links to simplify your purchasing process.

6. Final Design Proposal
​
We’re almost there! You’ll receive your beautiful design, floor plan, shopping list, and renderings that show how your new space will look in real life. I’ll send you a full presentation to visualize the final outcome.
